What is a financial advisor?

A financial advisor provides expertise in savings, debt, household cash flow, investments, insurance and retirement, helping you to pursue your financial independence.

How can Purposed Financial help you achieve your financial independence?

We help our clients work towards their financial independence by creating a partnership that includes organization, accountability, customization, and education. We use a proactive approach that puts our clients in a good position to seek their financial goals.

What is Purposed Financial’s process?

  • We first have a conversation reviewing your assets, liabilities, and future goals.
  • Based on financial data and what we learn from the conversations, we begin structuring a written detailed plan that will put you on the road to financial performance.

What services do you offer?

We offer budgeting, risk management, tax strategies, investment management, estate planning coordination, retirement and income planning.

What is risk management?

Risk management is identifying and solving potential uncertainties that may negatively impact your financial future. We do this by assessing and incorporating the potential need for insurance such as disability, life and/or long-term care.

How are you compensated?

We receive financial planning fees, management fees and commission on insurance.

Do I have to move my money under your management?

Although it is not a requirement, it may be beneficial to move all or a portion of your assets to take advantage of additional investment products and strategies.

What is the difference between tax planning and tax preparation?

Tax preparation is what your accountant will do to minimize current tax obligations. Tax planning is what we do at Purposed Financial to assist in reducing future tax liability to better position your portfolio assets.

If I live in a different state than your firm, can I still become a
client?

Yes! We work with clients across the United States.

Are you a fiduciary?

Yes, as an advisor with fiduciary standards we have the obligation to legally and ethically do what is in our clients’ best interest. We document and deliver our recommendations and are held accountable.
